I’m excited to announce that we will have Lori Michaels teaching a one-day seminar on Friday February 16th. Focus will be on master handling skills based on trends seen at large events. The seminar will be from 8am to 5pm and held at College View Park in Moorpark with a limit of 10 working spots. She will be judging the Happy Dog Agility 2-day UKI trial (2/17 – 2/18) following the seminar. There are only a few spots left in the seminar. If you are interested, email me at hda@happydogagility.com or sandyscotthomes@yahoo.com so I can put you on the list and send you the registration form. Working spots are $200 and auditing spots are $50.
Also be sure to check out the upcoming events page on the Happy Dog Agility website for the entry form for the UKI trial. At this trial, Sunday will have double opportunities to earn Agility and Jumping Q’s. To earn a bye into the UKI Agility Stakes Final at the West Coast Open, you need to have a minimum of 4 Agility Q’s, 4 Jumping Q’s 2 Speedstakes Q’s and 2 Game Q’s. By having double classes, it gives you more opportunities to earn the necessary Q’s. So, I hope you come out and support the Happy Dog Agility UKI trial!
For those planning to attend the UKI US Open in Florida this year, to earn the UKI National bye, you will need 6 Agility Q’s, 6 Jumping Q’s, 2 Speedstakes Q’s and 2 Games Q’s.
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions that you might have. Have a wonderful day!
